I have been so blessed in working on my new project. I worked with ridiculously talented folks that upped my game completely. They allowed me to explore as a writer/vocalist/producer and to go confidently into uncharted territory. While it is still in the oven, so to speak, I’d like to share a snippet of « Harmless » which will be on « Notes from the Journey. »
Ridiculously talented folks to follow: Les IsMo on drums, Ricardo Ramos on guitar, Phillip Lewis on keys, LeShawn Thomas on bass, DEA horns and the vocal squad of life Tiffany T’zelle Wilson, Darius Booker, Keesha Gumbs
I’ll be performing this and several new tunes from the new project this Oct. 3rd Bizz’Art Bar-Live-Resto-Club, so if you are in Paris make sure you don’t miss it!
There is a magic to this music thing sometimes…………..
Jamming at the end of a set in Berlin @ A-Trane
Some folks beg for change,
Some just stay the same
Some things fall apart,
leaving what remains…. so cold

What a whirlwind 2 days…. or maybe I should say World Win.
A year ago I toured Europe and hit up a jam session at Berlin’s A-Trane with soul family Kenny Wesley. We joked about how we should do a tour and call it the Ebony Express (unofficially 😉 ).
A year later and we are both touring Europe but have an opportunity to share some stages along the way……
Well…… #ebonyexpress has already hit a few stages as well as performed live on NPO Radio 6 Soul & Jazz with fellow soul mate Sarah-Jane. Shout out to the beautiful and talented host Angelique Houtveen for the interview.
Words are powerful.
NPO Radio 6 – live performance and interview.
