You’re Up!

Headed back to Europe and so honored that my first stop is opening for one of my FAVORITE singer/songwriters/musicians… The Man…. Omar Lyefook at the legendary Jazz Cafe in London!!!

Special shout out to the folks in another time zone making it happen. Isma Hill for always having my back as we forge ahead on new musical adventures. Antje and the AKency for putting muscle in the hustle, and Omar and his team for being so gracious.

….. Then on to my second home in Paris where we will once again LIGHT UP the Bizz’Art.

Last stop will be playing an outdoor festival at Parc Decesari!

Other surprises along the way so watch this spot!!

I’ve got a good « Feeling » about new music

While working on the mixes for my upcoming project « Notes From the Journey, » I can’t help but get excited about all the collaborations I have this time around.

One collaboration you can hear right now is « Feeling, » a vibe heavy record between myself and Hallex M. Having worked with such artists as Omar Lye-Fook and Jocelyn Mathieu, Hallex M is no stranger to the groove.

Feeling is steadily making it’s way up the charts. Check it out and share it below!

What could be the Harm?

I have been so blessed in working on my new project. I worked with ridiculously talented folks that upped my game completely. They allowed me to explore as a writer/vocalist/producer and to go confidently into uncharted territory. While it is still in the oven, so to speak, I’d like to share a snippet of « Harmless » which will be on « Notes from the Journey. »

Ridiculously talented folks to follow: Les IsMo on drums, Ricardo Ramos on guitar, Phillip Lewis on keys, LeShawn Thomas on bass, DEA horns and the vocal squad of life Tiffany T’zelle WilsonDarius BookerKeesha Gumbs

I’ll be performing this and several new tunes from the new project this Oct. 3rd Bizz’Art Bar-Live-Resto-Club, so if you are in Paris make sure you don’t miss it!

Nether-ending Story

What a whirlwind 2 days…. or maybe I should say World Win.
A year ago I toured Europe and hit up a jam session at Berlin’s A-Trane with soul family Kenny Wesley. We joked about how we should do a tour and call it the Ebony Express (unofficially😉 ).

A year later and we are both touring Europe but have an opportunity to share some stages along the way……

Well…… #ebonyexpress has already hit a few stages as well as performed live on NPO Radio 6 Soul & Jazz with fellow soul mate Sarah-Jane. Shout out to the beautiful and talented host Angelique Houtveen for the interview.

Words are powerful.
